Failed to stop

Oh the joys of being distracted while driving.
Sympathies to the driver that was in the fire. If he survives 24 hours it will be a miracle of sorts

 

Holy #### man. I think u guys have the worst crashes out there. Hope that driver makes it

 

Every single day the head instructor at the school I went to three years ago, stated this:
The worst day you can ever have in trucking, is when you look up from whatever was distracting you and you instantly realize “Im not gonna stop in time” that moment you realize, your F-D and he says it’s 100% preventable when there’s no distracted driving.

 

16:30? That's gonna be a fun commute for oh, so many people.

 

With respects to the driver who caused the accident....driving a truck is no longer an option. The moment you made a conscious decision based on reasons only you know which resulted in you being the agent or author of your own actions, your free will produced terrible consequences.

Possibly some floor trash of soda bottles that rolled under the brake pedal

 

the problem is, so many "think" that they can BE truck drivers.

and as long as the CDL Mills, continue to churn out steering wheel holders. the more the accident rates will climb.

this can be used against the industry to promote MORE driverless testing, and more companies going that way to reduce insurance costs and liabilities.

until (further saying) that in some way, some how, disabling devices for in cab distractions, like phone use, texting use, watching a DVD, this will also lend itself to the problems.

too many steering wheel holders are MORE interested in thier PERSONAL life, then to be "bothered" by what's in front of them.

 

Meh, it's I-80 in the Lincoln, happens all the time. Nice going. Can't blame this one on drugs, except maybe Ambien,.
