"Yes sir , appt. 1 hour from now and im 30 minutes away. Had it booked for 2 weeks and they close in 2 hours , i need to be there quick. Its alot of unhappy people if im late. "

followed by " well #### , dont worry, we will get u unloaded ASAP"

LOL figured out how effective that was when i actually had a load like that. I may or may not have used that about 15 other times when i didnt have anything booked, just to get unloaded faster

Most Trucker Thing of the Day: spent 30 mins contemplating how to avoid traveling on I-70 and not loose time.

 

Stayed up till 6am can’t sleep at home. Also drove with a low tire on the car, just to add some excitement to the day. I could have filled it, but I like to live on the edge sometimes.

Additional interior Cascadia mods. Part #2

When I mounted my CB it had this leftover tray that I had grown quite fond of for stashing a pen, my airbuds and some lip balm. I repurposed it. Here’s how.

I lined it up with an existing dash screw/ hole, and then I used a pair of scissors to “drill” a hole through it. The plastic is soft so it was easy. I used that as the main mounting point. I used a piece of Velcro for the other side. The dash has no additional holes and remained completely stock.

 

Well I finally did it! Too get tthe wife to walk around with no top on. Give her a rash that is irritated by clothing. Alas now I cant touch her either. LOL
