How'd you hurt it? Tried naproxen at all. That seems to work better than anything else for me anyways

What kind of pain you have? Does it interfere with your trucking?

Sitting will tend to exasperate any already existing Things you might have. Especially things like lower back problems, if you have a hernia, joint problems, they’re not gonna get any better sitting in the front seat of a truck all day, every day. Just a fact. Not to mention you’ll probably gain a lot of weight which makes those problems even worse. I would venture to guess that most truck drivers, including myself deal with some kind of discomfort or pain associated with driving pretty much all the time. Getting out for walks helps, but not completely

Left side about halfway down my back. Every now and then it bothers me. Old football injury.

My psoriasis bugs me more, during the summer at least. I'll revisit this in 30yrs when arthritis sets in lol. Take after my grandma

My first year out my left shoulder/neck hurt all the time.

It eventually went away for me. There is a period of adjustment where your body is getting used to the position you sit in for hours a day.

Yes, all of the above. 30 years in the Construction industry will do it to you. Nothing debilitating....just typical aches and pains that years of hard work will cause. You start paying into your 50's. Started Driving at 56. Couldn't imagine trying to keep it up for another 10-12 years. I have just learned to live with it. Occasionally take Ibuprofen and or Naproxin Sodium.

I take 800MG PRN for pain. (with food), long term better than an opioid!

I am retired now. I have arthritic pain in both shoulders, elbows, both S.I. Joints and right hip. The left hip is starting to get bad. Thankfully I don't have much pain in my neck or spine.

Pain is the way the body tells you something is wrong. Just like your vehicle temp warning light or gauge tells you the engine is getting hot by going off, pain tells the brain there is a problem. For most of us old farts getting old is the primary problem. Yes, Trucking can exacerbate a bad back, and the lack of activity can also cause problems with your legs. Not related to your question, but DVT can be an issue. I know two truckers that have died because of DVT. I would suggest knowing or at least having a good idea why you are hurting BEFORE trying to drive.

I manage my pain by using creams and taking naproxen, but I do have some Percocet's available if needed.
