I started driving trucks in 1974 , seems I can't do anything much without pain . I just deal with it.

This accident caused this pain, I was perfect before that. I will be patient for 18 more months. If this pain doesn't go away, I will end my life. Life with pain is no life.

I felt like that at one point in my life.Neck injury and chronic pain,I was still driving then.I read an a article about a doctor who specialized in this because he himself had lived through chronic pain.I went to see him, best 500 bucks I ever spent.I,m alive and well today all these years later.Just so you know, sometimes things aren't as hopeless as they seem.

    Neck, hip, knee pain.

And my hands are getting a bit arthritic.

I've been doing physical jobs my whole life, and now all the accumulated hurts of my working career are "coming home to roost", just like my Dad said they would.

I just deal with it. I eat a lot of tylenol or advil.

And yes, trucking is making it worse.

So not to be an ******** here, but op you are trying to find a way to get into a truck at a high risk.

See there is a lot more to this other than pain, one example is the dot physical which in today's world, you have to discuss with the examiner your accident and your pain.

This isn't much of a choice for a disclosure because if you don't and you get hurt say at a customer's site the investigators will discover the accident and the treatments and you will have to fight to get medical bills paid, some will even consider this fraud.

My insurance won't allow me to hire someone like you, you are too high risk for complications and I can't take chances on you suing me.

Well now, we have someone saying that they might end their life.

OP, it's time for some counseling. I urge you to seek professional advice.
