Tire Shortage Due To Coronavirus?

@SmallPackage deals with tires of some sort.

 

I've seen no such shortage.

 

Some tire plants have put a few sizes on back order due to slower production. That is somewhat normal regardless of the corona. I have not heard of any manufacturer shutting down production due to the virus. Probably what’s happening is the dealers you are talking to have a weaker supply chain for certain brands. The big chains get first dibs on purchases.

 

Cripes, I used to haul truck tires off a container, you never saw so many freakin' tires, and that was just one warehouse in one city. I'd say a bigger shortage is paper products. At my Walmart, no paper plates, axx wipes, paper towels, and speaking of axx wipe, have you seen the prices. A 9 pack of name brand was $10 BUCKS!!

 

Definitely a shortage of tires. It’s hard finding them in my area. I already have 16 trailer tires on order.

 

Imagine thinking it's a conspiracy that someone won't sell you a product they need to sell to stay in business

 

I order paper products from Walmart Online Shopping. Prices are fair, considering they're delivered to my home. Last night ordered some Keurig coffee pods and some other stuff. It'll be here Wednesday.
Don't have to interact with the delivery people. They sit it at the front door, hit the door bell, and take off.

 

Been moving paper towels last few runs. No wait time either. When i left the plant earlier they were swamped
