Looking to purchase a high roof Volvo to pull chemical tankers. Will I have too much of an issue with clearance?
Is high roof truck too much of a problem in tanker world?

We have a couple places with 12' doors. Not a lot of people using condos. I run a mid roof myself. @ChicagoJohn @Orange713 @Rugerfan maybe will chime in.
RichTrucker2020 Thanks this. -
One in El dorado Ar refused to let me back under, so since I asked before I took the load, I got paid TFNU. -
I run all mid roofs and flat tops.

You see quite a lot of places filling up tankers from the top, and quite a lot of places using something like this
Now you will have find a place where backing under it with 13'6 is will be no no, BUT again in most places it will just create a little extra problem you .
But again I see few 13,6 trucks carrying tankers quite often....RichTrucker2020 and Crude Truckin' Thank this. -

On the east coast the older racks can be an issue. I had a roof fairing on my mid roof. The new racks raise and lowered. The older ones are fixed in height.
