Glad I just looked at this @D.Tibbitt on my road atlas, not a designated truck route and I was gonna take it to get to I-25
Where is everyone #5

I’ve been sitting here trying to get a fuel solution that isn’t a million miles out of the way for the past hour almost lol if anyone’s going to “Roady’s Roadrunner Travel Stop”, save meh a spot; so much for an early start
This would’ve been so much more simple had they told me I could fuel up at the Love’s I’m at, instead I’m getting less than 100 gallons and then I gotta fuel again right after at a Pilot, I’d be on my flippin way already otherwiseLast edited: Aug 4, 2020

1. Download the EFS Card Control app
2. Create a 4 digit pin/password.
3. Sign into the app by entering your entire card # and 4 digit pin
4. Use the price locator tool to see where your company gets the cheapest fuel.
The last step is entirely up to you.
5. Look at all fuel prices that would be on your route instead of way out of the way. If its a couple cents more, go there and fuel.cke, 650cat425 and farmerjohn64 Thank this. -
Take this for what its worth...which might be nothin.
You are in control of that truck and your log book. A dispatcher/driver manager/fuel planner isnt your boss. They are your office counterpart. Going that far out of route for what Im gonna guess is a 5 cent/gal difference in fuel will actually coat the company more $ in fuel by burning more than what the price difference is.
With that said, sometimes you gotta go along to get along. This is an instance where if you can prove you saved $ by fueling somewhere else, then you CYA. But you might piss off the office jockey and that can affect the working relationship.
I dont understand these companies that want a mindless steering wheel holder that cant think or trip plan. You no think, just go where office jockey say. -
I musta hit my head. Thinking of doing a 12.5 wide into Staten Island?
cke, shawnhhllc, Tug Toy and 8 others Thank this.
