Normally it is not an issue for me but I'm just complaining today because I put myself in this position. Pay no attention to me!

Lmfao imo you made good points and the fact I gotta go an hour out the way to fuel when I’ve already passed two other pilots along the way is dumb as hell, this company really does have me by the balls and I can’t make any of my own decisions almost; if it’s not the exact place they have on the fuel solution they send, then I can’t fuel there

We are set up the same way for fuel to an extent. We get the largest discount at PFJ but if one is not nearby we can fuel somewhere else after making a phone call to the Fuel Card desk at Valley and get the card unlocked.

None brother. None. The O/O's are the ones who screwed everyone out of PC. In late 2018 and early 2019 several O/O's were using it to deliver loads and other things so Valley had it removed from the PeooleNet. It sucks.

Seems like a better way would be to just terminate anyone caught abusing it. First couple terminations and word gets around that they aren't playing.

I rarely use it myself, try to avoid it cause it's just too open for interpretation. Ya gotta CYA, it's all about avoiding liability anymore.

My understanding with Valley is that all trucks are required to have an ELD and specifically their PeopleNet system. I had asked a few months ago about a glider exemption to run paper logs and I was told there was no exemption. All trucks require and ELD. As for the age limit I do not believe there is one. The truck has to pass an inspection and be capable of running their ELD. That was my understanding about older trucks..
