    hello ,
I gave 2013 freightliner cascadia isx 15 .today i notice that i have a bad coolant leak under radiator its dripping like crazy. When i touched i noticed it s mixed with oil.
I check engine oil no water in it, i check coolant reservoir no oil in it, yesterday i had ultimate PM at TA shop, i don't know if the guy did some thing funny specially when he was trying to open the bolt down the pan he was tighten it instead of loosing it hopefully he didn't hit the bottom of radiator, i am not sure i don't want to blame him, also when checking the oil i find it overfilled way above the limits.
Any idea what can cause the oil and coolant mixed dripping bottom of radiator. Couldn't locate from where exactly it leaks thx so much

Overfilled oil level would be mechanic error or additional fluid - ie coolant.

External leak mixture could be coolant or oil leak mixing outside engine.

    Never trust TA.

Lab sampled corrrectly - coolant and oil -,would give better analysis.

Let the motor cool down. Allow enough time for coolant/ oil to separate, (if it is mixed) overnight if you can.
Remove drain plug from oil pan. If you have coolant in your oil, coolant will drain before oil comes out.

If coolant is present, change your oil as soon as you can.

    Good luck.

Mixed? Or just residual oil from a spill/leak?

I believe is mixed, because if it s spill the dripping should be coolant only by now, it s still mixed with oil but the color is red clear not dark, one guy told me maybe mixed with transmission fluid. I am lost got to go to the shop thx

If the oil is a reddish colour, could very well be transmission oil. Many trucks have a coolant to oil heat exchanger for the transmission. Hopefully you're not getting coolant into the transmission if that's the case. It can damage the synchronizer.

You should call the shop immediately and ask how they want this handled before you do further damage.

I would pull samples of each - engine oil and coolant - and send it away for analysis, they can rush it through for you for extra.
