NJ to allow Illegals commercial licensing

Americans won't stand for that. There would be an outright rebellion if this were to happen.

Look what is happening in several states and cities. The populace are hiding while their cities burn.

 

Yea look what happened in Portland where Mr. Big Shot Mayor Ted Wheeler sided with the rioters and gets hit with smoke grenades himself lol. He didn't go back out there again.

 

I submit to you that American's have already sat still for such a transgression.

Case in point, property taxes. This not only includes your house and the land it is built upon, but taxes, insurance fees, title registration, and the like.

"Do you pay taxes on that?"

No doubt you have heard this question before. It's intended meaning that only by paying taxes on something, do you truly own a thing. But when we think it about a bit, it truly makes no sense and is utterly false.

In the case of buying a house, not paying property taxes will lead to the government eventually forcing you out of the house that you purchased by lethal force if necessary.

Does this seem like ownership to you?

We Americans have tolerated this for decades with no foreseeable end in sight. The same can be said for income tax.

This is why I cannot see Americans in open rebellion against illegal immigrants taking cdl jobs.

 

Unfortunately I work at one of these companies and I'm not proud of it. The owner runs two authorities, one for Canadian drivers and one for immigrant/foreign worker drivers.

I run on the Canadian authority obviously and they pay me 0.65 cents per mile. I was taking a look at the rates for the other authority and it was 22 cents per single mile and 16 cents for team. I was extremely disturbed to see this. I seen 3 drivers in one truck in the yard before, although I'm not sure if they all drive together.

Talked to some of the drivers and they told me the owner treats them like trash. Although he treats me fine.

Or way over extended financially, trying to live the life that they can't afford. This is quite often the reason people fail.

 

They don't need to make it so that illegals can get a CDL.

When I had my audit the officer told me that there are far and illegals they have some kind of a ring that they can just purchase CDLs.

Nothing against @LondRanger, but he did mention Armenians specifically, although I'm sure there are many illegals that do that.

It is amazing to me that with all of these laws and rules and weigh stations and inspections that this isn't under control.

 

The American dream is real and alive.

There are countless places to live for a fraction of 350k. People that thrive, aka; live the American dream, do what is necessary to make it happen. Move and thrive if 350k is too much. Take the bull by the horns. Make your own destiny.

1) You may want to look for a job elsewhere. Sooner or later, the owner may find a way to get rid of you and the other Canadian drivers. It is just a matter of time. From the looks of it, you are dancing with the devil.
2) Also, it is just a matter of time before the legal authorities catch up with your boss and shut him down, probably arresting him. You REALLY want to be away from there when all this goes down.
