Question about Texas rattlesnakes!!!

yellow jackets attack in a swarm.

they also bite as bad as they sting.

evil little suckers.

have seen them grab fly's behind the head and fly off, while I was at a sugar warehouse. carnivores!!

 

Worst I ever got was I was on a riding mower going around a palm tree. They love to nest under palm leaves. I reached out and under the leaf to lift and the top of my hand and wrist went into the nest. Eight or nine stings. It was swollen up almost to the size of two for a week. I could not put on a glove for a while. The panic attack is a no crapper for sure.

Haha i was home by myself at the time and had 911 punched into the phone in case all the sudden i couldn't breathe all I had to do was hit call. No neighbors close by

 

Stopped at a rest stop in Texas the other day and saw 2 signs there that warned watch for snakes ... I walked around the whole rest stop to stretch and never saw any snakes. I’m afraid of snakes also so I was looking. I would think they would be worse in Arizona ? Seems to me it’s like Florida and alligators , yes you can see them but its extremely rare. But go to California and the amount of drug addicts and homeless people are everywhere everyday all the time off the charts.

If you have a dog be careful walking him or her. I was near Amarillo walking my dog and heard one rattling in the bushes. Never saw it but he was there somewhere. If you encounter them it will likely be in the rural areas, rest stops etc. Also in Texas you got to watch out for scorpions, again mainly walking your dog. I was in a rest area north of Ft Worth and it was full of them...they were kind of a grew color with blue striped. The next time I went through there they had put poison out to get rid of them.
