I get paid 50 cents a mile and for over 2000 miles I get paid an extra 35 cents a mile. $25 for each stop and $25 detention after 2 hours. Is this a good pay or should I look for something else? I drive an average of 2600 miles a week. Home weekly. Thank
Is my pay good for otr?

2) .35 a mile X 100 miles = $35
3) Total ******************** $1,335 (excluding money for stops & detention)
1) You seem to be doing quite well.
2) Many truck drivers are not earning the amount of money that you are earning, along with not getting the miles and detention pay that you are getting.
3) What company are you driving for?

Home weekly with $1400 gross, I would say is a pretty solid deal.

2000 @ .50 cpm is $1000
600 more at .85 cpm is another $510
$1510 gross not 1335.
With the extras and home every weekend you're certainly doing better than I was as a company guy.nredfor88, asphaltcowboy4x4, LtlAnonymous and 5 others Thank this. -
TRUTHFULLY speaking, I wasn't sure if I calculated his mileage correctly. Therefore, I put it out the way I did, HOPING that I did it correctly. Again, thank you for correcting me.
