There isn't a snake that the Lord can't protect you from. Its the humans ya need to be cautious of.

Its been here for a few years, really docile. You can walk right next to him while he (or she i guess) slithers along. It excavates the mole tunnels around my garden, just the tail stickin out. I dont love snakes but i try to let them live. We have tremendous amount of ticks and mice are a huge disease vector.

Neighbor few doors over went in his garage and had a black snake fall out of the rafters onto him.

Back up in Mass id seen more aggressive snakes, especially on the water, than i have here.

You’re being silly now. It’d be like me bar-hopping in Halifax, NS, and being paranoid about moose attacks, or going to Toronto and expecting to run into Geddy Lee.

The problem with this world is that there is no way in hell he knows who Geddy Lee is but he can probably recite the lyrics of any hip hop crap you can name.

I sure as hell don't know who Geddy Lee is, but I very well know about Tom Cochrane and his signature song Life is a Highway, which is still very popular these days even after almost 30 years of its' release. Oh and one more thing, I don't listen to hip hop and nor do I like hip hop/rap culture. The culture shown, portrayed and preached in hip hop or rap has done more harm to the next generation. It has raised a generation of disrespectful, unapologetic, mannerless and immature men and women, and sadly it is next to impossible to re-program their cognitive mind into becoming disciplined and well mannered adults.

A Canuck not knowing who Geddy Lee is. SMH.

Geddy Lee—actually Gary Lee Weinrib—is the son of Auschwitz survivors. The family moved to Toronto after WWII. In elementary school, Gary, which sounded like “Geddy” in his mom’s heavy accent, met his best friend Alexander Zivojinovic.

Years later, the son of a farm tractor dealer auditioned for the part of drummer for this new band called Rush. This drummer was Neil Peart (RIP). The Holy Triumvirate was born, although Rush was already a touring band promoting its first album.

The Holy Triumvirate, with probably Rock’s best bassist ever, one of its best lead guitarist, and by far its best lyricist and drummer, recorded albums and toured practically nonstop for over 40 years, with few hiatuses.

Here’s one of their most recognizable songs:

I’ve encountered dozens of rattlers 100’s of snakes 1000’s of yellow jackets and scorpions. Gone through bad Texas thunder storms that bring tornado’s, hailstorms, floods. Hurricanes. Fireants. Locust infestation in the mid ‘80’s. But I’m more afraid of Canada because of Celine Dion. Lol! I do however respect Geddy Lee and all that those three guys did for Rock n Roll.
