hello all. I got a new kw and im trying to take care of it. I have used blue bacon for my washes a time or two. They do okay but its a company truck (fleace to purchase) yes im aware of the scam. But i still want a good wash like the true o/o gets. I see such clean rigs but I feel places treat mine like trash because its not a 389. I've gone a few random places where the reviews were saying they do a good job...but avg at best for my rig. I run southwest to east. I40 i10. Once in blue moon i80. Any recommendations?
Where is a good wash job???

At home. You can use blue beacon for touch ups but all those shiny trucks are washed at the barn primarily.

Don't make money at home.
Definitely know about hard work. I spent hours cleaning my cars all by hand. I have no problem doing it with the rig but I'm never home obviously.
My question was which wash is best on the road that won't miss bunch of spotsAttached Files:

The answer is there isn’t any wash’s on the road that do a good job.

Carry microfiber towels and cleaning supplies in your truck. Also, if you have a condo get a foam squeegee on an extendable handle. When you pull out of the bay take the squeegee and get the water off the high spots, then take some rags and wipe down everything you can reach. Wipe the water out if your wheels. Then drive about an hour or so, stop and wipe the water spots off with one of your damp rags from before.
At the Beacon make sure and tell them soap and water only and get RainX on your truck.650cat425, Big_D409, larry2903 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I get a good job at some of the Blue Beacons.
The one on I-10 in Baytown, TX. has always done good .
The one in Georgia on I-20 at exit 19 does ok.
One on I-95 in Florence, South Carolina is fair.
I always get citrus shine , no acid anywhere.
And rain x, they all do better if you stay close as possible
and don't be shy about telling them what they missed.650cat425, feldsforever, Tug Toy and 1 other person Thank this. -

I remember stopping by the blue beacon at the petro in Atlanta about a year ago and they left the truck nearly spotless and the rims were more shiny than the usual beacon job. Not sure if it was a one time thing though.
feldsforever Thanks this.
