Recent driving experience fading away?

In my free time over here, I listen to a variety of podcasts that have mentioned that. I'm also a news, fake news, junkie and I've heard of people not wearing masks claiming a medical condition to do so. I would wear a mask, but here in the Philippines it really steams my glasses. Good thing there a dry, 110 degree heat in Phoenix lately.

 

The very first time I hired on with Knight, even after passing the road test and backing test, they put me with a trainer for about a week. Mostly PHX to SoCal and back. Swift also put me with a trainer, when I failed the backing test back in 2015. I understand that a company has to be able to say that they "did everything possible" when they seat a driver and send them out, to ensure that they are safe.

Knight has SmartDrive cameras in all their trucks and I've always had a real low or zero score on that, so I'm safe and they have records to back that up. It's interesting because the SmartDrive score ties into your bonus potential, if it's too high you aren't getting a monthly bonus.
