ESTES Express (5 Year Review)

My first week of extra board goes as follows.

232 Spokane - 233 tri cities - 246 Boise = 436
Laid down(my choice) and got my new truck.

246 Boise - 225 SLC - 237 Twin Falls = 564

237 Twin Falls - 223 Auburn = 623

223 Auburn - 237 Twin Falls = 623

237 Twin Falls - 225 SLC - 257 Grand JCT= 500

257 Grand JCT - 224 Denver - 257 Grand JCT = 522

Total miles = 3,268

Not bad for a first week of running. Currently resetting in Denver.

 

On my way to Billings. Someday, we are going to begin moving freight from the West coast via Montana/ND to Joliet/KC.

 

Yup my TM has been really pushing for it here in Spokane. We send all of our east bound freight through SLC when it doesn't have too.

 

Seems like your going to do pretty good with the terminals farther apart.

Yeah them old people net PD4's are enough to make you pull your hair out. I like how the new tablets tell you your total shift drive available before you even take your 30

 

We had a driver on our team run quit. The run is Cincinnati, Toledo, Salt Lake City, Toledo, Salt Lake City, Toledo, Cincinnati. 6800 miles, Sunday to Friday, i signed up but then backed out at the last minute. I haven't really driven out west and I'm not comfortable with trying to sleep in the truck while someone else is driving in that snow. It sucks to pass on it tho, would be like 120-130k.
