Do you need an account for that? My current company is to cheap to setup Pre-Pass.
It would be nice to not feel like I have to go in the Florida Agriculture Inspection Station when I just haul pallets of folded cardboard boxes.
Why do truckers pass weigh station when open?

I saw a truck run the scale house at Sage Junction on I-15 in Idaho yesterday afternoon... The DOT caught up to him just before exit 150.
It's one of those scales that you have to take an exit to get to it. They are currently in the process of installing the weigh in motion scales and Pre-Pass sensors. At that particular scale all empty trucks get to use the bypass lane... But there is no way for DOT to know if a truck is actually empty or not, as there currently is no scales before the weigh station or in the approach lanes... It simply the honor system. I know for a fact that loaded trucks go through the "Empty" lane on a regular basis. I think this was a big motivator for installing the weigh in motion scales.Dave_in_AZ, 650cat425 and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -

On this subject of "blowing past" a scale house. It is important to remember a lot of these scales (at least at one time) just have/had a weighmaster who IS NOT a certified Law Enforcement Officer! In fact, in some places, these weighmasters are NOT even DOT/CVSA/MCSAP certified Officers. They drive their POVs in and do their shift and leave. They can't come after you. All they can do is call for help. Many years ago I absently minded blew past a scale eastbound on I 20 coming out of Texas into Louisiana, I got a few miles down the road and a State Trooper pulled me over. He was a nice guy and accepted my explanation and after looking into my empty trailer let me go with a warning. So, just because you seem to be getting by with doing this, does NOT by any stretch of the imagination mean you might not have to do a 180 and go back. I have seen it done! Just a warning!
