    I read here several months ago about a driver who decided to use his daily/personal Dually to haul freight/cars. All went well until he was stopped by the DOT and the officer determined that the truck was not in fact a commercial vehicle. Don't remember the exact fine anymore, but it was a large amount not to mention the Out Of Service. Just thought I would share. Tks

    Maybe he wasn't registered or insured commercially. That's about all I can think would cause such a surprise.
