I’ve seen different numbers posted everywhere so you’ll just have to find out when you get there haha.
I’m IRP/IFTA, so as long as I’m under 26,000, I don’t have to pay for it.

Good to know. After a few months of running this setup, I'll be likely jumping to a bigger truck and will likely going IFTA/IRP

    DouletTheDriver Thanks this.

I thought if you had IRP/IFTA you didn’t need to mess with trip permits?

    UPDATE...

I just realized I did not update this thread, must have mentioned it in a different thread that I did end up buying a Diamond C, 35' deckover with 12' hydraulic dovetail, 10klbs lift capacity on the dove. I bought this setup because it was what was available within 1200 miles, and I didn't like different quality issues I saw on the PJ, Lamar, and Big Tex trailers I looked at. I'm sure they make fine trailers, but the ones I saw were not representative of good craftsmanship.

It's a 25k GVWR tandem dual with standard electric brakes, 10k oil bath Lippert axles. 7780lbs curb weight according to the sticker, will get weighed this coming Monday or Tuesday when all the chains and straps etc come in.

Not the setup I was looking for, not the features I was looking for, and not the specs I wanted, but... it was the best of what was available. I'll do what I can to make it work :)

I do not have IRP or IFTA and had to pay trip permit while I went to San Diego if this helps.

    DouletTheDriver Thanks this.

I don’t know how long it was good for. I carried our new daughter in law to San Diego. Put it in a box and her car then got a load back never worked there again. I put her belongings in a box
