Friend to another: "What are you planning for your wife for your 20th anniversary?"
- "Taking her to Japan"
- "Wow thats amazing."
5 Years later, "So now what are you doing for your 25th anniversary to top the Japan trip?"
- "Bringing her back"

@Xray4 Very Nice setup! A good pair of airbag load levelers on the SWR axle will help greatly in towing with that combo! Getting started presents much to learn. Having a Class A CDL + extra Trailer capacity puts you ahead of many hotshot guys. As you build broker contacts be sure to mention you have higher capacity (greater than 8-10k avg) and see what comes of it. IFTA is a toll to access a larger pool of loads. Find loads you want to run & that satisfies your business' operating margin requirements. In time, you may not mind IFTA especially if it offers cleaning up on items non-cdl guys can not touch. You have an advantage deploy it to build a business! A note, most popular ELD's have auto IFTA tracking and reports building features to help stay organized with the documentation. Using one card to purchase all fuel is also helpfu. A search of the net will provide much info.

NM got red light on Prepass.
DOT says I’ll always get red light because I’m apportioned so they must check my weight. If I’m over 26k, I’ll need permit.
Called OR before I crossed into it, lady said it works exactly the same for them too.
and sure enough I got red light at every open scale house in both states.Xray4 Thanks this. -
About prepass, maybe it's been awhile since I've traveled the Southwest much by road but there aren't a lot of toll roads out here, you guys use them in this part of the country?

I don’t mess with EZ-Pass any longer. I had one when I lived in NJ and thought it was great until they tried to bill me a $50 fine for a toll that I clearly paid (showed them the document that proved it). They said sorry were fining you anyway and I refused to pay it. Luckily i’d Moved out of state by the time the collections letter came and there was nothing they could do to me. Upon further digging I learned this is a little scam they pull on tons of people.
