New, newer and newish are always better than old worn out and patched! Picking up truck Friday unless they run into trouble. :blob6::blob5::blob7::blob3::blob2:

Where's everyone been? Been mighty quiet in here lately, maybe that's a good thing and everyone is super busy, I know I've been putting in some miles, just a bit over 9,000 in the last 3 weeks for me. @NightWind are you still on schedule to be back out Monday? I'll probably be up your way some time Monday.

On another note, I've been fighting an alignment issue on the new trailer, it dog legs quite a bit to the passenger side. I took it in Friday and another shop attempted to align it, they might have kicked it over an inch or so, but still annoyingly pulling right. Anyone have any issues like this over the years? I'll take it to our shop and see what they can do, Friday didn't allow me the time to travel there, I live about an hour and half south of both of our locations.

Stay safe, a week from now we'll be enjoying a 3 day weekend, something to look forward to.

Hi ya'll! Well it's looking like I get the truck back on Weds because of the fancy air breather keylocks that the body shop didn't have a key to unlock. They got one Wed, finished sanding and started painting Thurs and are putting everything back on the truck Friday and Monday. The polish guy does his thing Monday afternoon or Tuesday after they get done. Depending on how long it takes him to polish everything they'll do a final clean up Tuesday afternoon. Then service the truck and I'll get it either Tuesday afternoon or Wed AM. I really am ready to go some where.

Hey all. Glad to see everyone staying busy. I haven’t posted in a while we’ve been absolutely swamped. Last week we got a granite train in, and was asked if I’d like to help with that. I said sure as I’d never done it before. Took a load of salt to Cameron MO while the train got set.

The shed was empty so I could lift it all the way up no problems. Then got back and reported to the granite yard, and was flipped the keys to one of our spare dump trucks. I haven’t drove a class B dump truck since I was 18 so I had to get a bit of a refresher from dude who runs our granite yard. Which went like this; “when you dump and get back in line make sure you’re tailgate switch is in the lock position. And don’t dump in the wrong pile”. Ok great. 3 excavators on top train cars and every one has 2 trucks doin rounds. I was easily the slowest as our guys who drive class B’s full time flat out fly and now what they’re doing. 106 cars all together of ballast, 3/4 granite and 1/4 granite. Not bad something different. But man back and forth all day those trucks will straight beat you up.

After that was told to hook on to my barrel and help out at the power plant again. Not my favorite job by any means, but it’s hourly so whatever. The fly ash level can’t get above 42 feet (I don’t know what happens if it does, this is just what I was told), and was at 38 so they threw me and another guy on it to help the 2 that do it full time. On it again tomorrow, I’ll
be ready for a 3 day weekend. Hope everyone else is well!

Nothing exciting here. I've managed to keep my unit clean and polished for 2 1/2 weeks by dodging rain and getting parked before anything serious weatherwise. That's been the highlight of the past few weeks. Work seems to have dropped off some for us, so right now I'm doing brakes s cams and bushings on the front axle of my wagon. After that, it's rebuilding my fan hub and fixing a small cold leak around my thermostat housing. Fun fun fun.
