No bc it seems you’ll make better pay with Linehaul for now with most restaurants not getting the full amount of food they usually get. As someone stated YRC is in a hole Sysco might be the way to go but if you’re trying to drive and get a workout, also try looking at the Aldi and Lidl accounts all palletized food and dock parking. You load food / unload food /load backhaul/ unload backhual all via electric pallet jack at the DC and Stores. If you can move at your height and weight give it a shot. I’m 6 1/2 ft tall 278pds I move quick and go to the gym before I go to work.
Sysco or yrc

Your a tank going before you go too work. I love the physical part of Sysco it'll knock my motivation back into shape. Also make really good money. They said too guy made $104k and least was 65k. Yrc I did the math at 2200 a week making .51-.53 is only like 1150 or so.McUzi, LtlAnonymous and Danny707 Thank this. -

I saw an opening for Sysco shuttle position few weeks ago. Is that just moving trailers around from DC to DC? How much those guys make? Just curious

So does everyone think Sysco over yrc cause this fatboy will get whipped into shape. I know I'm heavy but it doesn't define me. I have the mental strength too do it.
Jay5GS and LtlAnonymous Thank this. -
No I said it primarily because of the higher pay and long term financial viability of Sysco vs YRC.
But it’s really a toss up with covid rates going up and down and bringing the foodservice industry up and down with it. Not just restaurants, but schools, hotels, and entertainment venues all use Sysco. It’s a tough choice.LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
Do it! YRC job will always be there trust me. Doesn’t work out go to YRC.
