Yeah thats right, everybody trip plans, some better then others, but being held up at a wherehouse, flat tire or whatever can blow your 'Trip plan'.

Yeah, these type of dispatches suck the big one. They are relatively rare, maybe once a month. For the most part, I like my company and these bad dispatches are my only real beef. I've learned to take them, and do my best. If something happens and I don't make it I can show my log to prove I'm not jacking off, and running it the best I can. So far haven't missed any deliveries. I've got to the consigneed with less than 5 minutes on my clock a couple of times, and a sore butt from not getting out of the seat. But for the most part, the dispatches are good.Trucker61016, Wasted Thyme, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -

I park at customers and in industrial areas sometimes. I need to add Walmart to my repertoire like you mentioned as well.Trucker61016, Wasted Thyme and farmerjohn64 Thank this. -
We had some drivers that have been hit while being broke down on the shoulder. During that time frame we also had a couple of drivers on the on/off ramps hit too, so the CEO put out we are not allowed to park there.Trucker61016, Wasted Thyme and farmerjohn64 Thank this. -
Easier said than done. Ramp parking is not justifiable in any means. Ramps where not built for someone to park on and its against the law...period.
Wasted Thyme Thanks this.
