    Escapees! EscapEEs!

Don't make me disown my twin I never met. ;)

An glad they are able to help you out. Good folks there.

As I'm one of the ones who suggested it to him...I'll pull a OJ and take a stab at this answer..

Yes they are safe. If your staying at their resorts/campgrounds your safer than at a rest area or truck stop. No lot lizards. No drug dealers. No homeless. No security guard threatening to shoot you, or shooting you over a parking space, etc etc.

Their services for addresses are available even if you don't own a rv. Quite experienced with the whole "need an address for a license and mail" thing.

Whether he's OTR or not shouldn't matter. Long as his lot rent is paid, he'll have a spot to return to if he wants. .

He is in good hands with Escapees lest far as the address and mail thing go. An unless I misunderstand things, which I'm sure he'll correct if so, he's only using them for the address and mail til he's able to get fully settled.

They've been doing this for awhile, and are not a new thing.

    Sirscrapntruckalot - WHeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

    Hello Mr. Goat... I mean... @Sirscrapntruckalot ...
I have heard about the Escapees a long time ago... I didn't know if he was or wasn't going to park his RV there... What I meant by safety was that if he had his RV with his "home" inside parked there, left unattended for weeks a time while he were on the road, that might call attention of others, like troublemakers and such trying to steal something or break into....

I am sorry, sometimes I have difficulty expressing myself in English...

So you have been driving around in Florida with a unregistered and uninsured car ?

Why so hung up on registering your car in Texas?

I have a Michigan drivers liscence but both of my vehicles are registered in Florida because it’s half the yearly cost.

Been that way for 4 years.

Boats and boat trailers registered in Michigan because it’s cheaper.

    Wasted Thyme Thanks this.

@Rocks Not a problem. It's a good thing to think about, and a lot of folks don't.

I apologize if I came off like I was lecturing/correcting you or anyone else.. I tend to just assume most folks know nothing about them(Escapees) or full time RVing. If ya'll can't tell it's something I'm rather passionate about. ;)

    Be safe folks!
