Here’s another one: don’t drive drowsy. I’ve found that a 20 minute power nap can give me two hours of alert driving.

Always look behind you when braking to see whose going to rear end your cargo trailer.
Wait, I thought this was the cabinet guy trailer pulling section. -

Smoking brakes off a hill. Never a good time. Run it cool.

Don’t speed more than 5 mph, don’t speed at all in construction zones. Read all warning signs, when they say “all trucks in x lane“, drive in that lane. When they say that your lane ends a short distance ahead, put on your turn signal and move over now. Don’t hog the passing lane, and if the third lane is posted for “no trucks”, that’s the middle lane.
Don’t park on entrance ramps. Don’t EVER park on exit ramps.
When you fuel, don’t take your 30 minute break at the fuel island. Pump it and pull forward. If another truck pulls up, go park somewhere else. If you roll slower than 5 mph, you almost certainly won’t kick off your ELD.Speed_Drums Thanks this. -
Don’t be like the NATT driver this morning and drive between the line up and fuel pumps. Me and two other drivers were tearing a strip off him and his team driver when the store manager asked him to leave the property Me first were in a rush don’t cut it lol
