A job is just an opportunity. Other opportunities will come.
I had a failed attempt at getting into my current employer back in 2010. I went to work for a company that ended up being terrible, so at least I appreciate what I have now, and I know what I DON'T want to do.
Sysco or yrc

The fact Sysco turned you down says a lot and perhaps a bit of discrimination. They see an overweight person, it's an automatic red flag. Like others said, it's a physically demanding job, and I'm sure they have had bad results. Now YRC, and most other linehaul outfits, not an issue. Fact is, I bet half their linehaul drivers are overweight. Why stop at those 2? What about stagecoach? Bus companies are in a world of hurt these days for drivers. Those guys are ALL overweight. I kid, but seriously, if you want a job in transportation, go with something more friendly to who you are, not something you might be someday.

Would never go to YRC there is no pension you work 4 years to earn 1 year credit. Due the math you have to work 120 years to get a 30 year pension. Plus the teamsters pension is going to be bankrupt in 2025 out of money period. And there is the 15% give back on your wages. Yes YRC quit paying for health insurance cause they where broke and had no money to pay the premiums. Since they got the 700 million government bailout they paid the back premiums and are now caught up. This is not a stable company and there are many better choices out there.
