I parked at Little America yesterday and it was 75 degrees around 5 pm. That changed a few hours later when it started raining and transitioned into snow. 80 westbound was plowed in some spots but it was hit or miss. For the most part I was only going 35-45 mph from Little America to Evanston where I refueled. Wyoming State Patrol shutdown 80 eastbound just past Exit 6 because of the snow and high winds.

The wrecker services are going to be laughing all the way to the bank this week..
At the same time they’ll probably be wondering where the heck are they going to put all of those trucks!!

    Roberts450 and dan31186 Thank this.

I used to live in that area of Utah about 8 years ago and have seen it like that. My little pickup was squealing tires to hold it straight. They initially said 80+ mph winds but later was confirmed over 100mph. Roofers in the area will be busy too!

mjd4277, speedyk and Roberts450 Thank this.
