Logging regional trip

    I'm trying to figure out if I can log a trip like this and come out OK on my logs. I would only do one, maybe two, of these trips a week. Sometimes not every week. I will include a picture of a sample log, but the rundown would be leave in the evening around 9:30 pm. Drive about 3 hours, 30 min safety stop, drive another hour. Sleeper for about 4 hours. Drive 1 hour, unload 1 1/2 hours. Drive 1 1/2 hours, stop for lunch, then drive 4 1/2 hours to terminal. Included 1 hour of stopped in traffic. I would have at least 10 hours off after, but probably 34 hour reset.

    Total time from leaving terminal to returning was 18.5 hours. Total on duty time was 13.75 hours. I'm thinking that the split sleeper berth would make this into 5.25 hours after starting 14 hour clock, then 3.75 hours in the sleeper, then 9.5 hours. Going off duty would then reset my 14 hours. This log shows 11.25 driving hours, but 1 hour for a traffic accident.

    Would this log pass?

    No, it requires at least 7 consecutive hours in the sleeper berth, I only counted 3. Now, if the long off duty time were logged SB, then from everything I've read, it would be legal.

    So if I went to the sleeper at return to terminal for 7 hours, then off duty, it would be OK? I see their thinking, but just tough to follow the logic.
