Old post I know, but personally I’d buy one. Go price a Peterbilt or Kenworth that new with that mileage. Are they really worth another $20,000? No of course not. Freightliner’s aren’t cool and I would prefer something different but financially they are the smartest move a Owner Operator can make I’m convinced.

I guess it’s personal preference really. My resale value isn’t as high of course, but I didn’t pay as much to start with either and it just works easier for me. If I made better I could afford better I suppose, although I have better places to put my money rather than a pretty truck.gerardo1961 Thanks this. -
