    So I'm camped out at the receiver. There's basically everything you could ever ask for within 1/2 mile radius.

    Long John Silvers and a liquor store.

    Ones in good condition are rare. Emissions systems from that era were a PAIN.

    If you are looking at it as a daily driver I would plan an Engine intake system update or back date.

    Key evolution dates in US production.

    Unleaded fuel/Catalytic converters Started '74. Build quality started to plummet. Front disc brakes where standard on most cars and Pickups.

    early 80's: crap tonne of vacuum leaks develop in the emission systems but started seeing Lock up Torque converters for automatic transmissions.

    Mid '80s: build quality started to return as a production priority.

    Early '90s: Fuel Injection became a viable product across most brands. ABS started to actually work right. Rear disc brakes started showing up on higher end cars.....

    Of 5 of us that pal'd back in the day ( not including ol ladies ), 3 are left. One asked me about 2 years ago, " So how about Teena?"

    I was like, " Dude she has antlers. "

    So after he could breathe again, he's like," She has put on a few pounds."

    And I'm like," A few. Like one of her thighs is bigger than my body. In fact it's bigger than most people's bodies. "

    So we had to cut our chat short because he was having problems laughing/breathing.
