It's more than enough to know how to avoid denting a shock on a yellow pole.

OP, each time I hook or unhook to a trailer I dump the air. I dont air it up til its lined up to my liking. I get out before hooking to see if it is dropped to high or low. I had to crank the trailer so the landing hear extended. It was a little bit of an incline, so I had to double and triple check. That extra check can be the difference between a good trucking job, or a bad trucking job. In trucking, people get caught up being in a hurry. You dont have to race your clock. You only have to be diligent. Efficiency my friend. Name of the game. Paying attention to the little things makes the big money. Trust me, I've made mistakes too. We all have. Now for your next job, be methodical and take your time.

If everyone admitted to everything they’ve ever done on here we’d all be considered idiots.

Sounds like you need to work on going backwards if you want to move forward. All of these mistakes can easily be fixed and are not caused by stupidity, maybe laziness which is not the same but often looks the same.

Speeding through construction is negligence. Narrow down job search to local “ low rent” companies

Very true. I pulled dumps from June 1974 till 1990 or 92. Never rolled dumping, but witnessed 2 do a side dump. Frozen loads will give a new meaning to the word pucker. When you get out of the truck while lowering the trailer and the seat cushion is clinging on your arse.

    I joke...
Three ways to unload a dump trailer, left, right and rear.
