First of all your just a glorified company driver with a payment that includes :
Fuel
License n permits
Insurance
Breakdown repairs

you still want to be a lease operator at 1.05 a mile? Or less.
major carriers don’t give a rats ### about if your succeed or don’t succeed.
If you don’t they will find another sucker to put his ### in that seat you kept warm for how many miles you drove it?

the next guy will get a supposedly a new truck if they detail it before you get in it ? Or fix it ?

Otherwise It will smell like ### n feet. No one likes that smell.
Your best bet is to save your money and buy a truck , not the first one you see but take a few months and look. Take a mechanic with you That knows his stuff .
have some cash on the side because you never know what’s gonna happen down the road. Not everyone can go out and get there own authority and be 100% owner operator, it’s not that easy. if you decide to ? There’s a lot of good company’s to lease on too ? Just do the work it will save you time and money.
Not a major carrier.
They will take a majority of your profits. You’ll get every crappy load they don’t want there company’s drivers to take.
