Hello everyone,
I recently applied to a flatbed company that had a position open. I told them that I've never done flatbed before, but that I would be willing to learn. The owner was okay with it and he said we will train you. Today he told me to come to the yard so that he could quickly go over some things related to flatbedding. He briefly explained about weight distribution and stuff, and he said that during the training you will understand how it's done. Now to all of you experienced flatbedders, can you explain to me how to distribute the weight of the load, meaning how should I have the trailer loaded and stuff? And anything else related to flatbedding, please do let me know.
Thanks.

Interested in this too, I just got into a flatbed gig myself but only hauling moving containers that are secured with 4" straps, that part is all gravy, just kind of interested in what the turning radius limitations are going to be like, esp parking at truck stops and smaller intersections

I guess no one wants to share any tips because they only want to keep that to themselves. No worries, I'll learn it.
