It is in Coon Rapids, that is correct. Let me know if you have any other questions about the DAP, I got my CDL through it last year.

Plenty to be honest. How did you handle out of state license for one?
Did they supply lodging the entire time?
What's a rough break down of the 6 weeks?

Ok. So learned they don't do lodging. How did you handle that?

I'm thinking about boondocking at the state forest.

He had family close by and stayed with them, then bought a house nearby and is a LTL P&D driver now.

Best bet is to check out the motels close by. Look at ones like motel 6, red roof inn etc. sometimes they have good deals for an extended stay.
I wish Magnum did have something set up with a local motel. I look at it as they only want residents from the Twin Cities area going through the program.

The program was set up to get LTL drivers
but they do allow LTD drivers to go thru it to get CDL

Yeah it's frustrating. I liked it was 6 weeks. Not the 3 weeks of other places. Might end up having to go through stevens

Why not go thru a Community College or a trucking school. This way you are not stuck in a contract.

    Lowlite and Winnyf1 Thank this.
