How long should it take to replace wheel seals and bearings on a trailer?

    I read the posts too & was only joking in post 18. I do the same thing. Google search something that pops up an old thread on this forum. Make a comment & then notice it is 10 yr old thread.

    No kidding. I think the guys who fix the stuff for a living have a bit better grasp on cost/time than a driver.

    old thread but curious i recently had a brake and wheel seals done curious on hours per wheel end. wheel seal/ drums / shoes/ slacks / and brake chambers about how how much time per wheel should it take?

    I count about 5 hours a wheel end.

    May be more or less depending on alot of factors. Age of unit, configuration ie frozen stuck on parts ect.

    In your first post last night you included slacks and brake chambers. I’ve swapped chambers in 30min and I’ve had it take 30min to get one off.

    im not sure . i wouldnt think it would be a 2 1/2day job to do brakes slack and brake cans and wheel seals . your tell me that is a 2 1/2 day job to do correctly?
