The only person interviewed that made sense is the one that said he wears a damp neck gaiter and damp N95 mask under it.
The rest of them are in for years of health problems, just as the 9-11 first responders have encountered. -
Were getting a 10mph East wind today in Cent Or. Air quality is improving alittle but that wind ain't helping the fires.
Dale thompson, Sirscrapntruckalot and Chinatown Thank this. -
This was my view this morning at the Pilot in Center Point,Oregon just north of Medford.
That isn’t paint on the ground, that’s FIRE RETARDANT. A few trucks parked here got drenched in it too. There’s ash on the fuel pumps! The last time I saw anything closely resembling blue sky was over 300 miles away-when I picked up in Sacramento, California-and even then said blue sky didn’t last long. I’m in Washington State now and I’m still dealing with haze!Last edited: Sep 14, 2020

I just escaped that part of the world. Glad I was only there a couple of days. Not fun breathing that crap.

They said the smoke is going as far east as NY I think the article said.
Was just reading...Spokane could be dealing with the smoke for another week.
Sad situation out there. At lest after a hurricane, I have rubble to go through and tracking my crap down thats blown away. Fire has no mercy, it's all gone. Whether you evacuate or not, there is really no prepping you can do for it. You can at lest try with Tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, etc.
Folks out there doing your thing an running those roads...be safe, an watch yourself. Fire is more unpredictable then a drunk meth crazed ex. Same to those out there who live there.
Wishing for the best for you west coast folks. California may be the annoying weird vegan family member who worships rocks and leaves, but it doesn't mean I want to see it burn down. Plus..I like OR and WA.
They said 2020 couldn't be topped. Mother Nature accepted the challenge. Wildfires, one of the craziest hurricane seasons in history, not to mention a land hurricane or whatever their calling it. All we need now our invading space aliens.
Sirscrapntruckalot - Ain't no one happy if Momma Nature ain't happy.REO6205, bryan21384 and mjd4277 Thank this. -
Was up there over the weekend. The smoke is horrific. The inside of my truck still smells like a campfire, ... a creosote infused railroad tie camp fire from hell.
drvrtech77 and mjd4277 Thank this.
