"The incident occurred around 3 a.m. in Texas." "the SUV driver fled the scene."
    Probably a drunk driver.
    Edit: Wrong article.

the crash the o/p posted, happened in Arkansas...

    no mention of an SUV.

Texas was as far from Arkansas as possible, to be concerned with another person fleeing the scene.

no, and thank god you, me and a few others are retired.

i can only "see" a future of MORE regulations, laws, rulings, clamping down even more on truckers.

maybe finally, an IQ test as well, and no one under an IQ of 120, be allowed to even look at a big rig, much less drive one.

What’s interesting is the amount of people still out on the roads at that hr. It used to be between midnight and 5am was 99% truck and very light at that. Now it’s almost the opposite. Nafta I35 never sleeps and I10 between SA and Houston is getting pretty thick 24/7.

    Nothing good happens @04:30 am.
To me, there was never enough parking in Arkansas for all the truck traffic.
