I only watch the first video and my opinion is the cop did nothing wrong. The driver just kept talking in circles hoping to BS his way out of it.

 

I don’t this bit of its the fault of someone who is stopped and parked. Take the legalities of ramp parking out of it for one min. If you’re stopped in the middle of the road due to an accident/flag man/or whatever else, and some idiot 4 wheeler piles into the back you, is it your fault?? No. You’re stopped. Not moving. It’s the exact same thing. This no ramp parking is nothing but tax revenue. Pure and simple.

 

May want to think that through a little better. If you stop for a accident,flagger,whatever it’s not your choice to stop. If you choose to park on a ramp, then it is on you.

All I know, is up here in northern Ontario, there are pullouts closer to lanes of travel than most if not all ramps in the USA. If I’m in one of them and someone runs into me, they left their lane of travel. Not me.

 

On the rare situation, I cant get parking, i just continue to drive on personal conveyance. Not going to deal with the bs this driver had to.

On a related note, im currently watching a TV show called Air Crash Investigations. Im only on season two and two of the crashes featured has the pilot's 14 hour duty limit play a role in fatal commercial crashes. Sounds familiar

 

Taking a 34 on a ramp is even dumber than taking a 34 at Walmart.

 

I wouldn't have been stupid enough to have parked there in the first place, so it wouldn't have happened.

 

I agree, dumb dumb move parking on a ramp if it’s illegal. But still doesn’t excuse the cops behavior either.
