What companies are good 1500 a week or more

I totally disagree on it being a bubble. Their business model is here to stay. Yes it will go down on occasion and that is a good thing so the stock price doesn’t implode like the DOT Coms did in the early 2000’s. I am in it for the long haul. This article is just one of many from various people in the investment industry and certainly is not a guarantee. If you do research in to the total workings of the company from day one to today you will see what the future may hold.

 

You're possibly right, but we also said the same thing about Walmart back in the day. They were getting their lunch eating for years before they finally came to their senses. The same with Microsoft. Just because something seems infallible doesn't mean it is. Every business is one delay or bad decision away from bad times.

 

Walmart is certainly not down for the count in-fact they are going to be a thorn in Amazons butt. I agree that every business is capable of being taken down, but diversification is the key to the success of many companies. Amazon most certainly has diversified and they aren’t afraid to think outside of the box. As big as Buster is, Amazon is probably one of a few companies that has the ability to replicate their success in hauling packages both ground and air. Hauling packages now isn’t necessarily going to be a revenue stream as it is a cost savings device. Originally they were planning to haul other companies packages to fill out the network, but now don’t have the room in the network for outside packages. Web services is the best part of the Amazon business model. It has the potential to be Amazons number one source of profits far exceeding the retail business.

 

I agree but it works for him . Amazon hired him with no experience besides Fast food and security work and paid for his CDL training . He's home every day , off 3 days in a row , gets free food at work , treated very well , works out to ~ $20 per hour average .

In Tucson we don't have lots of choices unless you're a good old boy or Hispanic/Native and he was against going OTR for his entry into trucking

 

And yes, absolutely Walmart is doing well these days. But for about a decade there, they absolutely foundered and struggled to figure out what their role in the new economy was. The same goes for Microsoft, before they discovered their current role servicing businesses.

 

Business has to be able to change with the world or they will die. None of us are exempt from that. Look at the number of trucking companies that have gone out since I started in 1986. The number one reason Central States Pension is all but dead. The companies didn’t have the ability to change with the market for numerous reasons. Let’s don’t be one of those companies.

I am willing to bet 10 years ago when I would have told you to buy Berkshire Hathaway had you asked me at $100,000 a share you would have said the same thing. Then you would have lost the opportunity to gain $226,000 a share in ten years.

Some out there 1700 a week and 2K a week after a few years. Look into long haul reefer types that stay away from east coast.
