No question about it, on CBRT you have to side with them or yes they'll ban you no questions asked, no warnings given. Mauldroppers OTOH you have to put up with children calling each other everything from the F word to the N word, uncensored. Worldwide DX forum and Radio Reference I think are better for asking CB related questions.

Radio reference is the QRZ of the scanner world, inflated egos. Almost all CB threads end up being ridiculed by amateur radio ops.

Bennie's forum (CBTricks) used to be great for the more technically inclined but egos and internal drama made many leave the site.

Billy Dean Ward's forum was great for tech advice but had to listen (read) to him constantly brag up the NPC mod and how it doesn't cause bleedover (yeah right)

The WWRF is great for advice and you will get honest answer but sometimes they are not very courteous about it.

Mauldroppers (Muledroppings) is a waste of space on the web.

If you used a credit care, call the credit card company and tell them you never got the stuff even after the promises being made to adjust the bill. Have them deal with it and let them do a charge back to the company.

It is good to see this thread bumped up. Like many, i have first hand experience with RAR. They deserve every beating they get.

    $3800?

You could have a great radio for 50 bucks. It's called a Uniden 510.

Two radios with numerous ridiculous features added to both, plus international shipping and customs. Very sad if true
