Its going to get to the point where lenders won't loan money on used emissions trucks ...the carrier im leased to is all that saved my arse .

Landstar already approved me for 2000 i requested as i never thought it will go beyond that much, i haven't completed 90 days with them but they approved me as i have had good revenue, I'm not quite sure if they can work for that much though, that's really a lot of money and the issue is i can't tell if i'm being scammed by the dealership or not.

yea you may have to just walk away. if you cant get any credit or loans on your own and if landstar wont help u monday. then walk away. your wasting time trying to rob peter to pay paul.

I think the price for the box is about right. You could call a different dealer from somewhere else and verify the price though.

I've done my research about the price and it's about right but tye issue is i can't be certain if the part change is really necessary or they just make it up so i can get screwed up even more

I think that will be my only option in that case, i've worked hard to build a good credit but i will have no options but to walk away, i don't need any credit in the near future, but it's not a pleasant experience especially with the timing, landstar is not a bad company but i wouldn't blame them if they decided not to help, i wanted to drive till December before i have any major issues. hopefully Jesus is up there lestining.

When ever you get check engine lights you should have codes that pop up , these codes need to be written down and you should do your research. All owner operators of these new trucks need the tools to change the in and out sensors , fix line heater issues , pressure sensor hoses and any other related emissions issues . OTR makes a module that will reset the derate to keep you moving .On the west side of Elpaso is a shop that does work for half the price of the dealers and doesn't do a huge mark up on parts , in Anthony Tx near the loves and flying J. Tough spot to be in , good luck .
