That's one of my favorite stops in California. Usually quiet unless someone is getting stabbed.

Is that one of those "ceremonial" knives that would be illegal for anyone else to carry?

Clue me in here, is this a spat over someone taking their 30 at a fuel pump? 'Parking' sort of implies parking there long term, like over night.

Either way, if I had a 'ceremonial knife' I too might have participated in a ceremony or two by now. Poor Sandhu won't have to worry about it anymore.

Usually, that parking lot has numerous empty spaces, even late at night. No need to take a 30 at the fuel pumps.

No need anywhere for anyone to do it, but lazy slobs do it every day. I really don't see why they don't have an employee/sec guard monitoring the fuel island at the big busy truck stops. I don't like security guards or being watched over but look at the alternative.

I've done it late at night at Petros once in awhile. But, we're talking 10+ fuel pumps with hardly anyone else there.
