Just checking on an upcoming run to Louisville. First time out that way. Hagerstown to Louisville. Route shows I70 to I68 to I79 to I64. Once to Louisville my delivery is all the way to the west along the River border with Indiana. Route I64 to I264 to 31W (Dixie Hwy) to Rockford Lane to Rt. 1934 to delivery on Distribution Drive.
Just wanted to see if anyone has run a similar route and if anything oddball along the way. Always good to have a heads up of anything strange.
GPS shows 583 Miles. I figure approximately 11-12 hours. Seem right? Thanks for any info.

    Coffey Thanks this.

There are several hills and curves but nothing out of the ordinary. I wouldn’t think unless you are extremely heavy and slow pulling hills that it would take you over 9 hours to drive it.

Also depending on the time of day you arrive in Louisville 31 Dixie Hwy probably won’t be your quickest route. Probably need to take 64 to 265 S/W which turns in to 841, which turns in to 1934 Greenbelt, which takes you to your street. Dixie Hwy 31 is the worst road in Louisville for traffic. The way I post may be a few miles further but likely will be 15-30 minutes quicker during the busy times of the day unless there is a wreck on 265.

Heh, ran there a few times with last company. Tried to shortcut via 264 my first run. Better to loop around like Banker said.

Parking can be a little scarce in that general area. Make sure to use Trucker Path to plan your exit strategy!:D

R.E. Michel on 7300 Distribution Drive. Not familiar with the area but got some good info so far. Looks like I’ll take the alternate route that’s been suggested. I-64 to I265 to 841 to 1934. Company giving me two days to deliver so I’ll spend a night in the area. Thanks to all.

LOL, once you get off 64 onto 265 south, it is literally two left turns to the customer.
265 turns into 841 which turns into 1934.
Just watch out for that first traffic light on 1934. It is kind of around a slight bend to your right.
Not the time to be searching between your feet for that Pez dispenser you just dropped.
