I'd suggest that if you want to buy a big ticket item, if you count your money and you have enough to buy it, go ahead and buy it. If you don't have the money, don't buy it.

    No violence needed...

If I can't pay cash for it, I don't need it. The only exception being a home. Even then I like a cheap mortgage payment.

It actually killed me to buy a new pick up this year, but my 01 went down for the count, and I wasn’t about to daily drive my mustang, let alone go pick up parts/tires with it, plus I got the covid special of 0% for 72 months.

kind of hard to write a Benz off for business expense though, but it’s his money he can figure it out on his own (or not)

My God, i thought my father was posting. These are his words exactly. They are also the words i live by.

you can’t get overwhelmed by debt if you have none.

A local farmer has a Denali with farm tags on it. He has a blown up pic of it pulling a trailer with equipment on it out in the farm framed up and hung in the office. Just incase the tax man ever walks in lol.

I tell guys coming in the truck is the priority.

The truck is going to break sure as the sun will rise.

Have the money handy for the truck takes a lot of sting out of that.

Now if you're making $100K year, and don't have two nickels to rub together, I've not much sympathy for you.
