I'm currently driving OTR with Swift. Well, I'm technically driving OTR with Swift. My average length of haul is so ridiculously short that I'm not sure I would even classify this as OTR. Are there any dedicated accounts that you know of with Swift where you can actually get a decent average length of haul? I haven't been with Swift long enough to get on a dedicated account yet, but it would be nice to know if there's something worth considering in the future.
Does Swift have any good OTR-like dedicated accounts?

what terminal you out of?
talk to your dl and others thete and see what's available.
some accounts require your safety score to be good and have some time with swift.
Costco, Wal-Mart, target, p&g are a few.
ask about a relay like what I am on.
i am put of jurupa terminal and puck up a load within 45 miles from here or at the terminal. then take that to beaver ut where o swap trailers from a guy from Denver co.
then take that back and tcall to jurupa or deliver it if I able to.i do 3 trips a week and off on Monday for a 34. 2700 miles a week.
Denver guy gets about 3000 due to his drive is longer.
bad thing is you are driving the same road back and forth but the miles are steadyTrucker61016 and truckdriver31 Thank this. -
whats it take to be a diamond II driver

Costco just opened a new DC in MN that you might like, if you are in that area.
If you are not... it is a very nice area to move to.
Lots of short stuff, but they get all the way to CO from what I've heard.
The pay should compensate for the fewer miles.
Personally, I would avoid relay stuff.
Too much can go wrong on both ends, and the times are way too tight for my liking.Last edited: Sep 20, 2020
