Good Day all,
I'm posting this here to hopefully get some real life experiences and driver input on these specific tires as they apply to any drive axle configuration. I have taken multiple sets of these tires off of trucks for poor handling. The tall stand up lug design, in any size on the wrong application can be a horrible combination. The tall lugs act as stilts that can produce a tail-wagging effect that only increases with load applied. Single axle applications are far worse, but can be felt in dual applications just the same. The issue is very noticeable on a new set but goes away as the tires wear down and have less give in the lugs.
The purpose of this post is not to bash Bridgestone but to create awareness of potential issues. For my own sanity I'm interested in others feedback as they have experienced similar handling complaints with this tire model or others with the same tread design or tread type.
Bonus points for links to articles or reviews pertaining to this problem.
Thanks for your input
