This apparently happened about 2 weeks ago. I watched the dash cam video. I have no idea how the Tractor Trailer driver plowed into the 4 wheelers. Obviously going way to fast, distracted, asleep? Really don't know. Didn't find any more than the video and original news story. Tragic.

Yes it sure was pretty bad. It just seems odd there have been no additional updates published, that I can find anyway.

    hi Labrador

to respond to your posts... yeah pretty bad to say the least ...the tractor and 53 footer literally gets extra speed up intentionally at 100 feet before smashing into the cars... you see the truck lean back on the rear wheels a bit heavy as it picks up speed in the last moments then BAM..that thing treats the traffic ahead like a plow barrels through snow on a midwest winter day ... i mean the guy would get charged no matter what... come on now, did the chp and local law not see the video we all saw the same day it happened

i have been digging in on this pretty deeply these last couple weeks and there is definitely a few problems that will cause anyone who is truly paying attention to notice how poorly this one is being followed through.. and i have found some interesting footage that you may need to see to understand where i'm going with this reply on your thread. hopefully you can just pm or dm me here .. as i have not a clue because i just created this account here for this message ... as this is the one and only thing i have come across where someone on the web is truly just saying "why are we not hearing a #### thing about this case?" ... it's sad because everyone should be asking .. yet why aren't they ? what is happening to our senses as human beings ? can the news show the world anything now and we talk about it just for that day in passing then next day it's on to something else ? makes you wonder what could happen if the media knows that fact. makes you wonder how long they've been making use of that fact... and how far people will possibly go ? anyhow you want to see a little more you probably missed on the normal news let me know and maybe i can get you this "post-incident" news reel so you can see why we will never hear anything about this and probably many others like it.

thanks for being a human i am glad some are still out there with a regular conscience and proper thoughts

    have a nice day
    be safe
thanks for being truly curious and asking "why"
    i wish everyone would

A difficulty with this forum is everyone thinks their new post is better than that of some one elses. It was established here that the driver wasnt paying attention at the time he hit the first three vehicles.

oh and that is no dash cam video ...
this is someone named mr seo (which is funny because "seo" is a term that people in marketing for online advertising use daily which in turn means "top hit" for search engines ... almost like it will be searched therefore people will see this story when it hit the media platform... and if you remember it started airing under the title "video emerges" ... yeah so video shot like a hollywood director such as james cameron loved when producing terminator 2 in the 1990's when the T1000 steals a big rig to give chase so for the drama he brings the camera down to the bumper eye level and records off the side and rear corner panel of a vehicle in front of the malicious truck that stops for no one... but wait how ever was this filmed in this manner somehow simply by coincidence. UH YEAH, HOW WAS THIS VIDEO SHOT ALL SET IN AN EMPTY SLOW LANE INCHES FROM DISASTER YET SMOOTH AND PERFECT. WATCH IT AGAIN AND LETS GIVE THIS ALL A GOOD HARD THINK

it was established here that at the time the driver hit the first three vehicles he wasn't paying attention ? i ask questions though ... it goes much deeper ... please watch the video as it shows what happened twice actually and before the second time through it shows more of what path the truck took and its speeds etc leading up to the throttle being engaged and wheel being steered and so on.... then please after you take things fully into account please come back here and help me understand how this is being "established" which i am assuming means "determined" that the driver simply wasn't paying attention...and just for the first few seconds when he hit three cars.., i'm confused because he never even used his brakes... i have photos from behind the truck after the accident and read the report that says CHP stated that the passenger size truck he hit toward the end of the long list of vehicles ...the statement clearly says that this truck was what ultimately caused the rig to slow its momentum because it got lodged at such an angle within the wreckage the rig was still hung up on of other vehicles that it finally accumulated enough to force the truck to slowly roll to a stop almost like a big heavy swinging oak door that still got hung up on a cheap little 99 cent door stop. and i must mention as well that the tires had left none of the rubber behind that we all know you'd definitely see laid on the road if he simply realized what was going on after he hit just the first three of the many passenger vehicles. please watch the video and count three cars of first contact and then pause it and think okay now he hits the brakes hard ... then play and you'll see what is obviously not an evasive action from that point forward i mean without looking first i'd honestly say i could stop a truck in less distance going the speed that truck was going after hitting just the first three cars quicker than that thing did and that thing even had many cars that would have also stopped his momentum greatly. The CHP in the south sac division were on seen since 5:45 pm just after the incident of course and not one report nor article stated anything i've found about so much as the driver obtaining an infraction for a violation. I mean i rear ended a car at the age of 17 and caused a total of maybe $6K in damages and no serious injuries and i got a ticket worth two points which is half way to a suspension if four total are obtained in any consecutive 12 month period in that state. it was on accident of course. so please help me understand how things were "established" here. i truly want to get the details. i appreciate you lending the data very much.
