I'm in the process of buying my first truck and I'm not sure what I want to do about a warranty.
I'm buying a 2017 T680 with a little over 400k miles. I can buy an extended warranty through Premium 2000 or a company like that but I keep hearing horror stories about those warranties.
    What would you do ?

do a rig dig report on vin# first. if you see lots of light violations. that means wiring problems. but it shows other things too

Cash repairs go to the front of the line while you sit around doing nothing waiting for your “free” repairs

ECM dump and a dyno/blowby, do that and the other due diligence stuff before considering it.
