Yes, that’s what it’s looking like. Just called Cummins for harness price. $11k!!
    This is outrageous

That can't be right. Make sure you can describe exactly which harness you need and call a dealership.

It’s the main harness from ecm. There isn’t a branch off harness. They said I need whole harness as all we know is short is somewhere between ecm and dpf differential pressure sensor. So it could be anywhere

The main harness from the ECM on my last truck, a DD15/Cascadia, was $408.

That harness is around 3k. Much labor involved. Chances are the issue is closer to the sensor than the ECM. Find a mechanic who has troubleshooting ability. This issue is not that hard to remedy.

In my limited experience, a paccar with cummins will throw that apocalyptic warning if the def gets lower than it likes, then forget it (at least on the dash) when the def is filled.

As said above, keep it full. I don't let mine drop much below half and I no longer get the warnings. I also have a mental list of def pumps that will let me fill it to the brim by pulling yhe nozzle out a bit.

the only codes which are problem are the dpf differential pressure sensor codes. The other codes are inactive codes in regards to the def running low and the nox sensor

I believe he’s troubleshooting correct way. Going though the harness and all connectors. But this is just a really unique issue with the volts dropping down as soon as I turn sharp right. I got that price directly from another guy who goes though Cummins got parts. I’m in CA so I would imagine that they have a markup on prices but that sounds way overpriced. Let me see if I can get a part # on that crazy overpriced harness. It’s a 2016 KW T880 with ISX15

I dunno about codes, not allowed to wrench here, we run 389's and know to keep the def topped.
For me 3/8 tank is minimum.
