I'm debating on finding a new OTR or regional company to drive for once I get 12 months. I've currently been with the mega I'm with now for 9 months. I hate changing jobs, and I like the company I drive for now. But the pay is not there. I'm on track to end the year at 49 to 51K. I can get a pay small bump, but probably only make 55K in year 2.
So I'm not sure which direction I should go. I would need to get everything on my must have list to even consider the company, otherwise I'd just stay where I am now.
Any suggestions on companies that sound like a fit would be appreciated.
Me:
- No traffic violations.
- No accidents or incidents.
- No criminal history.
- Only one other job in the past 20 years.
Must have all this (or it's not worth moving):
- 65K or better.
- No driver camera.
- 65 mph
- Limited northwest or northeast. I'd prefer to run south, southwest, southeast, midwest.
- The company should have good driver reviews.
- I'm local to Clark county, NV, Mohave county, AZ area.

Here's one with salary of $1250 a week. Taking time off for home time doesn't affect the salary.

50k is pretty good for your first year considering you had training and I am sure you probably run more effeciently now than you did your first 4 months.
Are you sure you are only looking at 55 for your next year?
Also remember that this has been a weird year.
What sector are you in? Dry van , reefer ?
Do you mind mentioning what company you are with ?LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
